Many will go on to colleges and universities, others will enter the work force or military, some will start families- . each of these wonderful young people have a personal dream for the future. After four years of study, homework, and exams a celebration is truly in order. The parents and teachers of Foothill are planning a grad night celebration that will be a memorable event, one that signals the end of high school on a joyful note and sets the stage for the next great step out in the world. We want this party to be exciting, fun, and most of all, safe. We have planned a full evening of music, games, raffles, and food. The Grad Night Committee is working hard to plan this event. Students will purchase tickets which will cover most of the costs involved. Many of our students are raising funds through candy sales to cover their ticket cost. We on the Committee are trying very hard to provide the best event possible while holding overall expenses down wherever possible. As always our goal is to provide a fun event that will also keep these kids safe, sober, and in one piece, ready to take on the world ahead. And as with any event of this type we will have some expenses beyond those that can be covered by ticket sales alone. We are hopeful that the City of Tustin through you and the City Council can become one of our Guardian Angels, helping us put on this grad night ~party and launch these youngsters safely into the future. We are asking for a grant from the City and Council that will help us to see these kids off to a great start- As in past years this grant will be greatly appreciated and judiciously spent. Please call me at 838-8956 with any questions. Sincerely, Jim Yedor 2003 Grad Night Committee California Distinguished School National Blue Ribbon School
