RECOMMENDATION:
That the Planning Commission adopt Resolution No. 4301
denying Design Review (DR) 2015-19, a request to allow
vacuum hoses and an outdoor car care vending machine within
existing parking stalls located at the automated self-service
drive-thru carwash at 3017 Edinger Avenue.
The applicant requested a continuation of this item, therefore the
Planning Commission continued consideration of the item to
January 12, 2016.

The report provides a summary of projects and activities since the
prior Summary of Projects report was provided at the August 25,
2015, Planning Commission meeting. The report focuses on the
status of projects that the Planning Commission, Zoning
Administrator, or staff approved; major improvement projects;
Certificates of Appropriateness; Code Enforcement activities; and,
other items which may be of interest to the Commission.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Planning Commission receive and file this item.
DiLeva-Johnson Presentation given.
Thompson Thompson complimented DiLeva-Johnson on the graffiti map provided in
the staff report.
STAFF CONCERNS:
Binsack Binsack reminded the Commission of the Mayor's Thanksgiving
Breakfast on November 19, 2015.
COMMISSION CONCERNS:
Smith Nothing to report.
Lumbard Lumbard thanked all of the Veterans for their years of service.
Kozak Kozak thanked DiLeva-Johnson for the Summary of Projects staff report.
He congratulated the Tustin Tillers Football (Empire League — 2nd Place).

Thompson shared a newspaper article about his son's (Luke) interception
leading Calvary Chapel to a 20-9 victory against Costa Mesa.
7:21 p.m. ADJOURNMENT:
The next regular meeting of the Planning Commission is scheduled for
Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chamber
at 300 Centennial Way.
