REGULAR MEETING OF THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA
MAY 20, 1991
1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Puckett at 8:20 p.m.
in the City Council Chambers, 300 Centennial Way, Tustin,
California.
2. ROLL CALL

3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - MAY 61 1991 REGULAR MEETING
It was moved by Prescott, seconded by Pontious, to approve the
Redevelopment Agency Minutes of May 6, 1991.
Motion carried 5-0.
4. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS
It was moved by Prescott, seconded by Pontious, to approve Demands
in the amount of $76,200.43.
Motion carried 5-0.
S. TOWN CENTER REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT TAX ALLOCATION BONDS, SERIES 1991
Christine Shingleton, Assistant Executive Director, reported on the
Agency's approval of a financing plan for the Town Center
Redevelopment Project Area and the issuance of $13.8 million in
bonds to implement that financing approach.
Councilmember Edgar noted that issuance of the bonds would provide
financing for the expansion of the Civic Center, water system
improvements and construction of the Columbus Tustin Park
gymnasium.

It was moved by Edgar, seconded by Potts, to adopt the following
Resolution No. RDA 91-10 authorizing the issuance of $13,800,000 of
principal amount of Town Center Area Redevelopment Project Tax
Allocation Bonds, Series 1991:
RESOLUTION NO. RDA 91-10 - A RESOLUTION OF THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING
THE ISSUANCE OF $13,800,000 PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF TOWN CENTER AREA
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT TAX ALLOCATION BONDS, SERIES 1991
Motion carried 5-0.
It was moved by Pontious, seconded by Edgar, to adopt the following
Resolution No. RDA 91-11 authorizing invitation of bids for
purchase of Town Center Area Redevelopment Project Tax Allocation
Bonds, Series 1991; approving the preliminary official statement,
the notice inviting bids and official form of bid; and authorizing
the publication of the notice of intention to sell bonds:
RESOLUTION NO. RDA 91-11 - A RESOLUTION OF THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING
THE INVITATION OF BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF TOWN CENTER AREA
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT TAX ALLOCATION BONDS, SERIES 1991 OF SAID
AGENCY; APPROVING THE NOTICE OF INTENTION TO SELL BONDS, THE
PRELIMINARY OFFICIAL STATEMENT, THE NOTICE INVITING BIDS AND
OFFICIAL FORM OF BID; AND AUTHORIZING THE PUBLICATION OF THE NOTICE
OF INTENTION TO SELL BONDS
Motion carried 5-0.
6. AWARD OF BID - TEMPORARY CITY HALL IMPROVEMENTS FOR INTERIM POLICE
FACILITIES
Christine Shingleton, Assistant Executive Director, reported on the
award of contract for the interim police facility improvements.
She noted that the low bid, W.E. O'Neil, was considerably less than
the construction estimate and came with excellent references.
It was moved by Potts, seconded by Pontious, to award the bid on
subject project No. 5906129 to W.E. O'Neil in the amount of
$88,200.
Motion carried 5-0.
7. OTHER BUSINESS - None
8. ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Puckett adjourned the meeting at 8:25 p.m. The next regular
meeting of the Redevelopment Agency was scheduled for Monday, June
3, 1991, at 7:00 p.m.
