HUSTON, CITY MANAGER FROM: PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/ENGINEERING DIVISION SUBJECT: ARTERIAL HIGHWAY FINANCING PROGRAM (AHFP) ANNUAL RECERTIFICATION RECOMMENDATION That the City Council, by resolution, inform the Orange County Arterial Highway Financial Program Advisory Committee of the status of the City of Tustin Master Plan of Arterial Highways (MPAH). DISCUSSION In order for an agency to participate in the Orange County AHFP it must annually certify, by resolution, that: A) It's MPAH is in conformance with that of adjacent agencies .and Orange County. B) It has adopted a uniform setback ordinance to protect ultimate arterial right of way. C) It has adopted provisions to limit access to the arterial highway system in order to protect the integrity of the system. Robert S. Ledendecker Director of Public Works/City Engineer BL:klb:ahfp 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 91-73 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, INFORMING THE ORANGE COUNTY ARTERIAL HIGHWAY FINANCING PROGRAM ADVISORY COMMITTEE OF THE STATUS OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN MASTER PLAN OF ARTERIAL HIGHWAYS WHEREAS, the City of Tustin has a Master Plan of Arterial Highways, and; WHEREAS, the Orange County Arterial Highway Financing Program requires annual requalification of participating cities in said program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Tustin as follows: Section 1: That the Arterial Highway Financing Program Advisory Committee be, and here is, informed that the City of Tustin's Master Plan of Arterial Highways is mutually satisfactory and in conformance with those of its adjacent governmental jurisdictions and the County of Orange. Section 2: The City of Tustin had adopted Zoning Ordinance No. 157, as amended, requiring setbacks to protect ultimate arterial highway rights-of-way, and in addition, the City of Tustin has adopted Subdivision Ordinance No. 651, as amended, which (provides for limitation of access to the arterial highway system.
