HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 16-16 RESOLUTION NO. 16-16 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN CITY RECORDS IN POSSESSION OF THE HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, the City of Tustin's ("the City's) Record Retention/Disposition Schedule, adopted by the City Council via Resolution No. 01-91, authorizes the destruction of certain City records upon approval of the City Council and consent of the City Attorney; and WHEREAS, the Director of Human Resources has requested authority to destroy certain records in a time and manner consistent with the City's Record Retention/Disposition Schedule; and WHEREAS, the records listed in Exhibit A are occupying space needed by the Human Resources Department and none of the listed records have sufficient value to justify retention beyond that which is required; and WHEREAS, the City Attorney has given written consent to the destruction of the records listed in Exhibit A. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows: PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Tustin held on the 5"' day of April 2016.
