"C" Street, Tustin CALL TO Meeting called to order at 7:35 by Mayor Coco. ORDER LL Present: Councilmen Coco, C. Miller, L. Miller, Oster ~LL Absent: Councilman Marsters III. CANVASS OF This being the time and place fixed to receive the ELECTION City Clerk's certification of the canvass of returns of the special bond election held on May 25, 1971, the certification of returns of said election and the absentee votes cast at said election were duly re- -ceived as provided by law. Moved by C. Miller, seconded by L. Miller that the Council receive the Clerk's certification of canvass. Carried. IV. RESOLUTION NO. 71-24 Resolution of the City Council of the City of Tustin, California, DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE CANVASS OF ELECTION RETURNS OF SPECIAL BOND ELECTION. HELD IN SAID CITY. Title of Resolution No. 71-24 read by the Clerk as directed by the Mayor. Moved by L. Miller, ~eco~ed by Oster that furt_h_er reading be waived and ResOlution No. 71-24 be passed and adopted and that said resolution be marked Exhibit "A", attached and made a part of these minutes. Carried. Ayes: Coco, C. Miller, L. Miller, ester. Noes: None. Absent: Marsters. In answer to questions of Mrs. Paul Bramhall of 17432 Parker Drive relative to the cost estimate for securing the parks and the estimated maintenance costs, the Council directed that this information be mailed to Mrs. Bramhall. V. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business the meeting was adjourned to the regular meeting of June 7, 1971.. ~J~TY CLERK EXIIIBIT "A" RESOLUTION NO. 71-24 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN , CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THE RESULT OF THE CANVASS OF ELECTION RETURNS OF SPECIAL BOND ELEC- TION HELD IN SAID CITY ON The City Council of the City of Tustin California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows: Section 1. That the votes of more than ~wo- thirds of all the voters voting at said election upon said bond proposition were cast in favor of the adoption of said bond proposition, and said bond proposition is hereby de- clared tobe carried, and this City Council is authorized to issue bonds for the purpose stated therein as provided by law. That the City Clerk of this City is hereby directed to enter this resolution in full in the minutes of this City Council, which entry shall constitute the City Clerk's statement of the rssult of the election.
