HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 16-27 RESOLUTION NO. 16-27 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF DOCUMENTS REQUIRED BY ORANGE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY (OCTA) IN ORDER TO RECEIVE SENIOR MOBILITY FUNDING (SMP) WHEREAS, The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) is authorized through the Measure M2 (M2) Project U - Senior Mobility Program (SMP) funding to support local, community-based transportation services for seniors. Whereas, the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) is requiring participating agencies to submit a Senior Mobility Program Agency Service Plan to be approved and signed by both the agency and OCTA, upon final approval. The City of Tustin desires to continue to participate as an agency in the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) Senior Mobility Program (SMP) in order to receive funding. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows: 1. The Director of Parks and Recreation Services (hereinafter "Director") or her/his designee is hereby authorized to file and execute documents on behalf of the City of Tustin with Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) for Senior Mobility Program (SMP) funding. 2. The Director is authorized to execute and file all certification of assurances, contracts, or agreements or any other document required by Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA). 3. The Director is authorized to provide additional information as the Department may require in connection with the City's participation in the Senior Mobility Program (SMP).
