In order to mitigate these City Council July 5, 2016 Meeting Agenda Page 6 of 8 issues, the residents requested permit parking. Early morning parking surveys were performed on these streets as well as on the nearby streets of Carfax Drive, Del Amo Avenue and Mear Lane to determine parking impacts. The parking surveys resulted in parking impacts by non-residents on Carfax Drive, Charloma Drive, Del Amo Avenue, Drayton Avenue and Mear Lane. In addition, City Staff mailed letters informing the residents in the study area about the permit parking requests, soliciting their input and that the permit parking item would be taken to the City Council in the near future.
