SUBJECT: HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT -- ANAHEIM STADIUM PARKING LOT
Recommendation:
That Council execute the proposed Hold Harmless Agreement with the
City of Anaheim for use of Anaheim Stadium parking lot in
connection with driver's training for police motorcycles.
Background:
The Anaheim Stadium parking lot has been used for several years by
the Tustin Police Department and other County law enforcement
- agencies as a practice area for police motorcycles. Necessary
equipment is stored for use. The location, size, and seclusion
from other traffic makes it an ideal place for on-going motorcycle
operation training.
The City of Anaheim has again asked that we execute the attached
Hold Harmless Agreement to continue our use of the stadium parking
lot for these purposes. This agreement has been reviewed by and is
acceptable to the City Attorney. It is recommended that Council
approve execution of this agreement.
