AUTHORIZATION TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR INSTALLATION OF STREET
LIGHT CONDUIT AT GLENARBOR AVENUE AND HOLLYHOCK AVENUE
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Tustin City Council, at their meeting of
January 16, 1989, adopt the attached resolution approving the plans and
specifications for subject project and- directing the City Clerk to
advertise for bids.
BACKGROUND:
This project provides for the installation of street light conduit at
Glenarbor Avenue and Hollyhock Avenue. The conduit will be utilized to
install one street light on the east .side of each street.
The engineer's estimate for this project is $8,775. This figure does not
include any Southern California Edison fees.
The tentative schedule for this project is as follows:

RESOLUTION NO. 89-11
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF STREET '
LIGHT CONDUIT AT GLENARBOR AVENUE AND HOLLYHOCK
AVENUE.
WHEREAS it is the intention of the City Council of the
City of Tustin, California to contract for installation of
street light conduit at Glenarbor Avenue and Hollyhock Avenue;
and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has presented plans and
specifications for the construction of said work;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the plans and
specifications presented by the City Engineer be and are hereby
approved as the plans and specifications for:
Installation of street light conduit at
Glenarbor Avenue and Hollyhock Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to advertise as required by law for the
receipt of sealed bids or proposals for the doing of the work
specified in the aforesaid plans and specifications;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this project is
categorically exempt from the requirements of the California
Environmental Quality Act; Class I: Existing Facilities.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Tustin, held on the 16th day of
January, 1989.
