SUBJECT: DISTRIBUTION OF SURPLUS VEHICLES

R ECOMM ENATION:
Request that the Tustin City Council at their regular meeting of January 16,1989,
receive and file notice of sale of two surplus vehicles to Lakemore Auto Salvage, more
specifically Units 3405 and 3411, as provided for in Ordinance 871 of the City of
Tustin.
BACKGROUND:
On October 19, 1988, City Council authorized the sale Of, among other vehicles, two
damaged police units as surplus as provided for in Ordinance 871.
Informal quotations we received are from the following salvage dealers in the amounts
