AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE STREET SWEEPER
REGOMMENDATION:
Request that the Tustin City Council at their regular meeting of April 17, 1989,
authorize the purchase of a new street sweeper from Haaker Equipment Company,
Pomona Ca. in the amount of $123,070.24.
BACKGROUND:
The 1988-89, fiscal budget provided $125,000.00, for the purchase of a new .broom
sweeper for the Street Maintenance Division. Council authorized solicitation of
proposals at their regular meeting of September 6, 1988.
Bids were received until 10:00 a.m. March 22, 1989, at the office of the City Clerk, at
which time they were opened. Eight bidders expressed interest; six bidders responded
in the amounts stated below.
