REQUEST FOR TREE REMOVALS
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council approve the Public Works Departments' recommendation on
tree removal as shown on the attached exhibit.
BAGKGROUND:
The attached is a request which has been received from a property owner regarding
two trees within the public-right-of-way. Adjacent property owners have been
surveyed and the results are so indicated.
Two trees will be removed and replaced by City crews. Replacement will be with a
tree of acceptable species from the city's approved list, as stated in the specific
recommendation.

That the City remove, two Ficus Trees because of on go!ng damage to
walkway and owners irrigation systems;
STAFF EVALUATION:
Trees have caused repairable damage to surrounding City
improvements two years ago, and irrigation system is
currently damaged by tree's root system.
