That the Tustin City Council, at their adjourned regular meeting of January 2, 1990,
receive and file notice of sale of surplus vehicles.
BACKROUND:
On November 6, 1989, the Tustin City Council declared the equipment listed below
surplus and not required for public use, as provided for in Ordinance Number 871 of the
Tustin City Code. The equipment listed, with the exception of Units 3416 and 3409,
were sold at public auction on December 3, 1989.
Unit 3416 was sold to the Tustin Unified School District for $1,750.00, as authorized by
City Council on November 6, 1989. Unit 3409 is being held as a possible donation to the
Tustin Area Museum and Historical Society.
Gross proceeds from the sale of the vehicles was $19,500.00, less commission and
transportation costs, for a net of $17,865.00.
