Excel Paving, Inc., Long Beach ................. $173,669.30
Wakeham -Baker, Inc., Fountain Valley ........... $179,078.00

In conjunction with the construction of the Tustin Ranch Road/I-5
interchange, it was necessary to acquire right-of-way from the
Laurelwood Homeowners Association over a parcel of land that they were
using as a recreational vehicle storage lot. By a land trade with The
Irvine Company, Laurelwood received a portion of an old Atchison, Topeka
and Santa Fe Railroad right-of-way to use as a replacement storage lot
and the City of Tustin received right-of-way needed for the interchange.
The subject project, funded by Assessment Districts No. 85-1 and No.
86-2, will improve the replacement recreational vehicle storage lot to
City and Laurelwood standards, and will not impact the City's general
fund.
