For the Council meeting of February 5, 1990, authorize the mayor to execute a
quitclaim deed to Frank H. Greinke for a S.A.V.I. easement at 1011 El Camino
Real.
BACKGROUND
Several years ago, the City acquired all of the easement rights of the Santa
Ana Valley Irrigation Company (S.A.V.I.) within the City limits and its sphere
of influence. Several of these easements have been utilized for drains, water
easements, etc. by the City. Previous easements that were deemed not to be
utilized by the City have already been quitclaimed to the property owners at
their request subject to a transfer fee of $90.00 per document.
DISCUSSION
Frank Greinke has requested the City to quitclaim the S.A.V.I. easement rights
as it relates to his property at 1011 E1 Camino Real. Staff has investigated
this request and has determined that the City will have no future need for this
particular easement.

Town of Tustin, in the City of Tustin, County of Orange, State of
California, as per map recorded in Book 19, Page 79 of Miscellaneous
Records of said Orange County.
