HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC 3 CALTRANS UTIL AG 04-17-90CONSENT CALENDAR NO. 3 4-17-90 DATE: APRIL 5, 1990 �(. p4it Inter - COIN TO: WILLIAM HUSTON, CITY MANAGER FROM: PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/ENGINEERING DIVISION SUBJECT: CALTRANS UTILITY AGREEMENT NO.12013 RECOMMENDATION: That the City Council, by minute motion, approve and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to -execute subject agreement. DISCUSSION: In conjunction with the Caltrans Project to widen I-5 from Jamboree Road to Newport Avenue, sewer facilities in Nisson Road and El Camino Real, that are owned and operated by the City of Tustin, must be relocated. The sewer relocation work is included in the I-5 Widening Contract. In addition to sewer reconstruction costs, Caltrans is also obligated to reimburse the City of Tustin staff inspection costs that are incurred during construction. Inspection costs for the sewer relocation are estimated to be $6,380.00. Caltrans utility agreement No.12013 provides for the reimbursement of that cost to the City of Tustin.
