It is recommended that the City Council approve Final Parcel Map
88-316 by adoption of Resolution No. 90-60.
BACKGROUND
At their regular meeting on June 19, 1989, the City Council
approved Tentative Parcel Map 88-316 a request to resubdivide
several lots in Tract 12870 to create two numbered lots.- The
applicant is now requesting permission to finalize the subject
parcel map since all applicable conditions of approval for the
project have been reviewed and returned by the Public Works
Department. On May 29th the Planning Commission adopted Resolution
No. 2776 recommending to the City Council approval of Final Parcel
Map 88-316.
Parcel Map 88-316 is bounded by Robinson Drive on the west and
southwest, Jamboree on the east and Keller Road on the south.
Parcel Map 88-316 would create two parcels, Parcel 1, a 10 acre
elementary school site, and Parcel 2, a 20 acre community park
site.
Resubdivision of the above properties was required pursuant to an
executed Letter of Understanding between the Irvine Company and
City of Tustin dated March 11, 1988, which required relocation of
a proposed community park site originally proposed south of Irvine
Boulevard to north of Irvine Boulevard.
CONCLUSION
Final Parcel Map 88-316 is consistent with the General Plan, Zoning.
Ordinance and East Tustin Specific Plan and staff review has
