3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - JUNE 41 1990, REGULAR MEETING
Recommendation: Approval of Minutes.
4. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS
Recommendation: Approval of demands in the amount of $42,716.22
as recommended by the Finance Department.
5. AUTHORIZATION TO CONTINUE OPERATION FOR FISCAL 1990-91
Recommendation: Authorize the Executive Director of the Agency to
continue operations for 1990-91 at an appropriation not to exceed
that of 1989-90, until such time as the budget process can be
completed as recommended by the Treasurer.
6. GENERAL FUND LOAN TO THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY -
SOUTH CENTRAL PROJECT AREA
In order to carry out the program plan for the South Central
Project Area of the Tustin Community Redevelopment Agency, it is
necessary to have the General Fund make a loan to the Project Area.
Recommendation: Authorize the Mayor/RDA Chairperson to sign the
proposed Agreement loaning the South Central Project Area $500,000
from the City's General Fund and authorize the Treasurer to
transfer the funds prior to June 301 1990, as recommended by the
Treasurer.
7. REQUEST FOR MODIFICATION TO DEVELOPMENT PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT
(DPA) WITH RED HILL EDINGER PARTNERSHIP FOR PACIFIC COMMERCIAL
CENTER AT 1421-1481 EDINGER
On May 21, 1990, the Redevelopment Agency reviewed a request from
the Red Hill Edinger Partnership to expand allowable uses on the
site to allowable uses permitted under current zoning, including
churches. The matter was continued to permit staff to meet and
share information with Mr. Wolfe, representing the prospective
church use.
Recommendation: (1) Deny the request for modification or (2)
Continue the matter as recommended by the Community Development
Department.
