HONORABLE MAYOR AND MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL
WILLIAM A. HUSTON, CITY MANAGER
MEASURE M (TRANSPORTATION SALES TAX)
Mayor Edgar requested that this item be agendized for City Council discussion.
As a result of recent decisions by the Orange County Transportation Commission,
Measure M will be on the November 1990 ballot.
If Measure M passes, cities will receive funds for transportation projects.
Two of Tustin's future major capital improvement projects, the Tustin Ranch
Road -Edinger interchange and the Newport Avenue -Edinger underpass, would
be eligible for Measure M funding. Cities would also receive funds for signal
and major street maintenance projects.
