ORDINANCE NO. 305 - Continued from 4/18/66 BUSINESS AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, REGULATING THE CONSTRUCTION, ERECTION, ALTERATION, REPAIR, AND MAINTENANCE OF ADVERTISING SIGNS AND THEIR SUPPORTS Moved by Miller, seconded by Coco, that the City Council advertise for a Public Hearing to be held on June 6th, relative to Ordinance No. ?05, of the City of Tustin, Regulatin~ the Construction, Erection~ Alteration~ Repair~ and Maintenance of Advertisi~n~ Signs and their Supports. Carried unanimously. Moved by Xlingelhofer, seconded byMack, that Resolution No. 826, endorsing the proposed 846,400,000 Orange County Flood Control District Bond issue for 1966, be passed and adopte~. Also a letter be submitted to Orange County Flood Control District, soliciting their support in working ~ith cities in the future. Carried by Roll Call. RESOLUTION NO. 829 A RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT PROCEEDINGS HAVE BEEN INITIATED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, TO ANNEX TO SAID CITY CERTAIN UNIMHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND DESIGNATED AS "PASADENA AVENUE ANNEXATION" TO THE CITY OF TUSTIN AND GIVING NOTICE OF THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION Moved by Ring, seconded by Miller, thatI Resolution No. 829, be read by title only. AUTHORIZXE MAYOR AND CLERK, TO EXECUTE INDENTURE BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY, FOR RIGHT OF WAY ON HOLT AVENUE AT NEWPORT AVENUE. Moved by Ring, seconded by Miller, that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute the indenture bet~een the Southern Pacific ComDan~ and the City of Tustip., for an easement on Holt Avenue at Ne~r~ort Avenue. Carried. 7. ACCEPTANCE OF CONTRACT ON IRVINE BOULEVARD WITH O.E. HENDERSON CONSTRUCTION COMPANY. Moved by Ring, seconded by Miller, that the conzract ~.~_th 0. E. Henderson Construction Company for ianproving Irvine Boulevard from 330~ S.E. of Nexcporl Avenue to Elizabeth Way be accepted in the imoun~ of $22,151.39. Carried. 8. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS Moved by Ring, seconded by Coco, that the Demands in the sum of $43,203.10, be approved and paid. Carried. VIII. -REPORTS & 1, City ~d~inistrator: OTHER None BUSINESS 2. League of Cities - curbside delivery of mail. ?.Orange County Harbor District, requesting to be detached from Orange County Harbor District. ACTION TAKEN i. Request ~o close Loretta Drive on May 50th~ 1966. Moved by Klingelhofer, seconded by Ring, that a~proval be ~iven, as requested, for the closing of Loretta Drive on May 30th for Block Party, providing permission is obtained from Tustin Fire and Police Departments. Carried. 2. Public Hearinz and ReDor~ on ma~er of Proposed Ordinance. Moved by Ring, seconded by Ktingethofer, that Council refer ~o Planning Commission for Public Hearing and Report. Also Recom~nendation Lo the Council on the 'matter of Proposed Ordinance, restricting hours of operation of certain (heavy Non-Conforming Uses) adjacent ~o residential areas. Carried.
