BACKGROUND: It has been the practice of the City of Tustin to contract for street striping and pavement markings. September 25, 1990 Council award of bid October 1, 1990 G 1V1S m Altowa ij i Bob Ledendecker Director of Public Works/City Engineer Associate Civil Engineer BL: WA: mv i 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16' 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 90-114 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE ANNUAL PAVEMENT MARKING AND STRIPING PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Tustin, California to maintain existing pavement markings and implement new pavement markings and striping as needed at various locations in the City of Tustin; and WHEREAS the City Engineer has presented specifications for the purpose of accomplishing this work; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the specifications presented by the City Engineer be and hereby approved as the specifications for: ANNUAL PAVEMENT MARKING AND STRIPING PROGRAM BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to advertise as required by law for the receipt of sealed bids or proposals for the doing of the work specified in the aforesaid specifications. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this project is categorically exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act; Class I: Existing Facilities.
