APPROVAL OF Moved by Coco, seconded by Ring that
MINUTES minutes of July 6th meeting be spproved as
mailed. Carried.

PUBLIC 1. Ordinance No. 287
HEARINGS
Hearing opened at 7:32 P.M. to consider an
amendment to Section 5.11 of the Tustin
Zoning Ordinance, Ordinance No. 157, as
amended, regarding fences, hedges, and walls.
There being no comments or objections, the
hearing was closed at 7:33 P.M.
Mr. Gill reported that if Section 5.11 (B)
(4) were deleted exceptions to the requirements
can be made by the Planning Commission under
Section 5.11 (C).
Moved by Coco, seconded by Ring that Ordinance
No. 287, Amending Section 5.11 of the
Zoning Ordinance, with Sect~on 5.11 (B) (4)
deleted, be read by title only. Carried,
unanimously.

OLD 1. Ordinance No. 286
BUSINESS
"An Ordinance of the City of Tustin
establishing the time and place of meetings
of the City Council and Planning Commission
of the City of Tustin."
Mr. Gill reported that the First Western
Bank is investigating the insurance question
as to whether they would subrogate insurance
so that the City ~uld not have to include
the bank building under its policy.
Moved by Miller, seconded by Klingelhofer
that action on Ordinance No. 286 and
Agreement with First Western Ba~k be
deferred to next regular meeting. Carried.
2. Agreement with First Western Bank
Deferred to next regular meeting.
3. Resolution No. 787
"A Resolution of the City Council of the City
of Tustin, commending William Leinberger."
Moved by Klingelhofer,seconded by Ring that
Resolution No. 787 be read by title only.
Carried unanimously.
Moved by Ring, seconded by Coco that Resolution
No. 787, commending William Leinberger, be
passed and adopted. Carried by roll Call. Ayes:
Mack, Klingelhofer, Coco, Miller, Ring. Noes:
None. Absent! None.

2. Renewal of Agreement with ~e County of Orange
for Establishment of Remote Controi Facilities
and Maintenance Thereof
Moved by Coco, seconded by Miller that the Mayor
and City Clerk be authorized to execute Agreement with
the CounTy of Orange for establishment and
maintenance of Remote Control Facilities. Carried
3. Payment of Demands
Moved by Klingelhofer, seconded by Miller that
demands in the amount of $24,683.98 be paid.
Carried.

OTHER BUSINESS 1. Mr. Gill reported that all Tustin banks had
been contacted re~arding rate of interest for
lease-option agreement for new pumper and
recommended agreement with Saddleback Bank ~s
they presented the lowest interest charges.
Moved by Coco, seconded by Ring that the
City enter into a lease-option agreement with
Saddleback National Bank for Seagraves Model
800 KB 1250 Gal. pumper. Carried.
2. Reminder of the joint workshop between the
Council and the Planning Commission regarding
Sign Ordinance.

3. Tentative date'of July 29th was set for
a Joint workshop of the COuncil, Planning
Commission and Parks Commission
regarding Master Tree Plan.
4. Mr. Ring Commended=the residents in the
McFadden St. area for defraying part
of the cost of tree planting on
McFadden Ave,
X. Moved by Coco, seconded by Miller that
ADJOURNMENT . the meeting be a~journed. Carried.
