OF of June 21st meeting be approved ss mailed.

PUBLIC 1. Amending Ordinance No. 157
HEARINGS
To consider an amendment to Section 5.11 of the
Tustin Zoning 0rdinsnce, Ordinance No. 157, as
amended, regarding fences, hedges and walls.
Rearing opened at 7:35 P.M.
Moved by Ring, seconded by Miller that Hearing to
amend Section 5.11 of Ordinance No. 157, as amended
be continued for two weeks to the July 19th
meeting for clariffcation by the Planning Staff.
Carried.

TUSTIN, APPOINTING CERTAIN OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES
OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN."
Moved by Coco, seconded by Ring that Resolution
No. 784 be read in its entirety. Carried
unanimously.
Moved by Ring, seconded by Coco that Resolution
No. 784, appdinting certain officials and employees
of the City of Tustin be passed and adopted.
Carried by roll call - Ayes: Mack, Coco, Miller,
Ring. Noes: None. Absent: Klingelhofer

2. Resolution No. 785
"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN ADOPTING
THE CITY BUDGET AND APPROPRIATING REVENUE OF
THE CITY FOR THE 1965-66 FISCAL YEAR."
Moved by Coco, seconded by Ring that Resolution
No. 785 be read by title only. Carried
unanimously.
Movedby Ring, seconded'by Miller that
Resolution No. 785, adopting the City budget
and appropriating Revenue of the City ~r the
1965-66 Fiscal Year, be passed and adopted.

3o A~proval of Crossing of Warner Avenue by
~'.T. & S.F.R.R. Tracks
Moved by Miller, seconded by Coco that the
Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company
be granted permission to construct two lead
tracks across Wsrner Avenue on the following
conditions:
1. Railroad to assume all costs of
construction.
2. Ultimate Crossing protection as prescribed
by the Public Utilities Commission shall
be installed st the'ultimate width of
Warnet Avenue and the railroad shall
assume all costs of providing such
protection. Motion carried.
4.Execution of Gasoline Agreement with Signal
0il Company.
MOved by Ring, seconded by 'Coco that the City
Administrator be authorized to execute contract
with Signal Oil Company. Carried.
5.Extension of Agreement with the Countyof
Orange for Public Works Services
Moved by Coco, seconded ;by Ring that the Mayor
and City Clerk be authorized t.o execute
Agreement with the County extending the following
Agreements:
1. Construction Engineering and Inspection.
2. Street 'painting and striping.
3. Soil tests and Material Control Tests.
4. Road Maintenance.
Motion carried.
6. ApproVal of Demand~
Moved by Coco, seconded by Miller that demands

be paid in the a~ount of $38,775;87. ~ artled.
VIII. Mayor Mack directed that the City Administrator
CORRESPONDENCE euthorize Chief Hiltons's trip to Clintville,
Wisc. to pick up a new 1250 G.P.M. pumper for
the Fire Department and drive it back to Tustin.
Mayor Mack also directed that a news release be
sent out regarding the above.

be r~.ceived. and filedl. Carried.

IX. 1. Mayor Mack direcued that proposed letter be
OTHER sent to Mr. William Leinberger regarding change
BUSINESS in treasurer position and the City Attorney to
drafz s Resolution of appreciation for Mr. Leinberger's
years of service to the City.
2. Moved by Coco, seconded by Ring that the
City ~ttorney be authorized to proceed with
legal action for compliance with condi~tional
Use Permit of Great Western (H-odge). Carried.
3. Ordinance No. 286
"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUS!TIN, ESTABLISHING
THE TIME AND PLACE OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
AND PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN"
Consideration of Ordinance No. 286 deferred to
next regular meeting.
4. Resolution No. 786
"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUSTIN, PRESCRIBING AN ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF
DRAWING CHECKS"
Moved by Miller, seconded by Ring that Resolution
No. 786 be read by title only. Carried.unanimously.

drawing checks be passed and adopted. Carried
by roll call Ayes: Mack, Coco, Miller, Ring

5. Moved by Miller, seconded by Coco that
Councilman Ring be granted permission to leave
the state for nine days, August 6th through
August 15th. Carried.
