SUB~ECT: ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND RELEASE OF BONDS FOR

RECOMMENDATION:
That the Tustin City Council at their meeting of June 19, 1989 accept
all public improvements within Tract No. 13094 and authorize the
release of all pertinent improvement and monumentation bonds.
BACKGROUND:
Tract No. 13094 was developed by Bramalea California, Inc. and is
located within the East Tustin area easterly of Browning Avenue and
northerly of Bryan Avenue. As a condition of approval of this
development, Bramalea California, Inc. was required to post certain
public improvement, and monumentation bonds as follows:
Faithful Performance (Streets) - #835B-100426701 - $403,880
Labor & Materials (Streets) - #835B-100426701 - $201,940
Faithful Performance (St. Drain)- #835B-100426702 -' $ 86,420

Monumentation

Ail work related to the public improvements and monumentation within
Tract No. 13094 has been completed to the satisfaction of the Public
Works Department and it is recommended that the above-mentioned bonds
be released and the public improvements be accepted by the City
Council.
The four subdivision warranty bonds:
#835B-100426701 - $40,388 (Streets)
#835B-100426702 - $ 8,642 (St. Drain)
#835B-100476661 - $15,440 (Water)
#835B-100476662 - $ 7,980 (Sewer)
must remain in force for a period of one year after the City accepts
the public impro.vements.
