During this meeting Brett-asked Mr. Rupee to articulate his
concerns. Mr. Rupee stated that he felt that t~.0range County

throughout the entire period. Mr. Rupee further stated that the
Fire bepartment had been "lenient" with regard to time frame
requirements for corrective action.
During this meeting Brett also attempted to clarify the Fire
Department's position regarding UFC requirements. Mr. Rupee stated
that he was very familiar with the Fire Departments requirements.
Furthermore, Mr. Rupee agreed with the statement that the existing

required corrections. Mr. Rupee expressed appreciation of
Inspector Stoll's cooperation throughout the process.
In summary, the Fire Department will continue to pursue corrective
action by CMS Enhancements as required by the Uniform Fire Code.

At this point CMS Enhancements appears to be making progress to
that end. Additionally, the Fire Depart~ment will be available to
assist with technical questions arising during this transition
period. The Orange County Fire Department looks forward to the
timely completion of the remainder of the requirements.
