MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING
TUSTIN CITY COUNCIL
January 20, 1964
Meeting called to order at 7:30 P.M. by ~4~yor Doney.
Pledge of Allegiance tO the flag.
Present: Doney, Sheridan, Hu~eston, Mack, Klingelhofer
Also ~resent: Rourke, ~arlsen, Reinland, Brook
Moved by Mack, seconded by Klingelhofer that Minutes
of January 6th Regular Meeting and January 13th Special
Meeting be approved as mailed. Carried.
Audit Report Mr. Remland reported that Mr. Adsit, Planning Consultant,
anticipates ha~i~g' aI preliminary repor~ by the first part
of February.
Mr. Re.land instructed to invite Mr. Adsit to attend
the February ~rd Council Meeting and make s~me presentation
regarding zone change application of Ralphs Industries.
Mr. Carlsen presented Tract 5219 on R-1 subdivision.
Agreement Moved by Humeston, seconded by Sheridan that City Clerk
tr. 5219 and Mayor be authorized to execute Agreement on Tract
5219 · Motion carried.
Moved by Mack, seconded by Klingelhofer that Ordinance
Ord. 249 No. 249 rezoning property to P.D. zone on application
ZC 63-131 of A. R. B~ilders ha~e first reading by
title only. Carried unanimously.
Moved by Mack, seconded by Klingelhofer that Resolution
Res. 691 691, recommending legislation which would preven~ state
agencies from pre-empting the field of local building
regulations, be passed and adopted. Carried by roll call.
Ayes: Doney, Sheridan, ~umeston, Mack, Klingelhofer.
Noes: None.
Amendment Moved by Elingelhofer, seconded by Sheridan that Mayor
C. C. & Rs. and City Clerk be authorized to execute Amendment to
Nelson Assoc. Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions
for Nelson & Associates. Carried.
Moved by Sheridan, seconded by Klinglhofer that decision
on application for dance permit by Gunner's Ranch
Gunner's House be deferred to next regular meeting awaitir~
Dance Per. final compliance with stipulations as recommended by
Fire and Building Departnents. Carried.
Moved by Klingelhofer, seconded by Sheridan that Ordinance
Ord. 250 No. 250 adding Section 5 to Chapter 2 of the Tustim City
~ode, defining the duties and powers of the City
Administrator, have first reading by title only.
Carried unanimously.
Council & City Clerk directed to write a letter to each Planning
Commission Commissioner informing them of a joint personnel and study
Joint session bergen the Council and the Commission, and
study stressing the importance and urging their attendance.
Meeting to be held at 7:30 P.M., T~esday, January 28th
in the old Council Chamber.
Moved by Klingelhcfer, seconded by Humeston that
Res. 693 Resolution No. 693, defining, "part-Time Election
Officer positions" be read by title only. Carried
unanimously.

693 be passed and adopted. Carried ~y roll call. Res. 693

Moved by Klingelhofer, seconded by Sheridan that Resolution
No. 694, authorizin~ and directing the authorized agent Res. 694
of the City of Tustin to execute amendment ~o Old-
Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance Agreemen~
with the State of California be read by title only.
Carried unanimously.
Moved by Sheridan, seconded by Humeston that Resolution
No. 694 be passed and adopted. Carried by roll call:

Noes: None.
Moved by Sheridan, seconded by Mack that Ordinance
No. 251, amending the Business License Ordinance of Ord. 251
the City of Tastin, be read in its entirety. Carried
unanimously.

~. Gilbert Mueller:s letter of resignation be accepted
~ effective Jan. 20, 1964, and a letter of appreciation Mueller
~ be sent ~o Mr. Mueller for his years of servmce. Carried. resignation
Moved by Klingelhofer, seconde~ by Mack that this
City join the program for cities representation in Law Suits
law suits at a fee not to exceed $100.00. Carried. represent.
Moved by Sheridan, seconded by Mack that bills in the
amount of $3,573-87 be approved and paid. Carried.
