from April to November. If this proposed ordinance is adopted,
the City's general election date would be returned to the second

Tuesday after the first Monday in November. The ordinance has
been amended to delete the requirement of Board of Supervisors'
approval.
Upon the ordinance becoming operative, the City Clerk is
_~quired to mail a notice to all registered voters informing the
¢oters of the change in the election date, and that elected city

be to decrease the terms of all members of the City Council by
approximately seven months.
