C. D. Tests Defense Director, be ~authorized to test all the phases
of Ithe C. D~ Siren £or, three minutes each on Tuesday,
January 16, ~1964 ~t ,12 noon land hereafter to conduct
like tests at 12 Noon on the first Tuesday of every
quarter. Carried.

Bonds Tr. bonds be returned and improvements accepted on Tract
4520 15420 of Euclid-Ball Co. Carried.
Moved by Mack, seconded by Klingelhofer that City Clerk
record map be authorized to sign record map .of Tract 5410, Costa
Tr. 5410 Building and the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to
execute agreement. ~ Carried.
Moved by Klingelhofer, seconded by Humeston that City
Clerk be authorized to Isign record map of Tract 5142,
record map Tustin Village, and Mayor and City Clerk be authorized
Tr. 5142 to execute agreements. Carried.
Moved by Mack, seconded by Humeston that City Clerk be
record map authorized to sign record map of Tract 5~34, Alto Madre
Tr. 5234 and Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to execute
agreements. Carried.

be authorized to sign record map of Tract 5327, Patrician Tr. 5327
Builders, and Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to
execute agreements. Carried.
Moved by Humeston, secanded by Sheridan that City Engineer
be authorized to contact Winston, Greene a~d Anderson, Pacific St.
Contractors for MWD to review damages to certain curbing Curbs
relative to replacing said curbs and constructing new
on Pacific Street from First Stre~et to Sixth Street and
report to the Council. Carried.
Moved by Sheridan, seconded by Humeston that Police
Chief be permitted to leave the County With permission Z
Police Commissioner or Mayor in order to place mileage
on new police unit. Carried.
Councilman Klingelhofer again expresse=d the need of a
Park Comm.
Parks and P~creation Cem~issioner residing within the needed
City Limits.
City Attorney Ro~rke reported that n6 action need be
taken a~ t~is time on the ~eferendu~ ~eti~ions relative Referendum
to Ordinance 236~ ~23~7 ~n~ 238 but that at the proper
ti~e the Council should ~ake, steps ~o place the zoning
of the three Rropertie~s involved on the next regular
election to be hel~ IARri~l ~14th. and that the Planning
Commission be advised .that~ they ~should 'consider the three
properties as zoned "U" and ac~ accordingly.

Res. 687 transferring funds from undistributed reserve to the
Building Department be read by title only. Carried

Mr. W. Moses stated he felt the Council would be remiss
if request of Mr. Bacon regarding removal of certain
Planning Commission members was not taken under-con-
sideration.
~. Renewal of Holthe Disposal Company contract considered Holthe
~ and Mrs. Holthe spoke on behalf of the Company. Contract
Moved by Sheridan, seconded by K!ingelhofer that the
~dayor and City Clerk be authorized to execute contract
with the Holthe Disposal Company in accordance with the
opinion and recommendations ~[ the City Attorney. Carried.
Moved by Klingelhofer, seconded by Sheridan that Resolution
688 abandoning a portion of certain streets be read-by Res. 688
title only. Carried Unanimously.
Moved by Sheridan, seconded by Humeston that Resolution
688 be passed and adopted· Carried by roll call: Ayes:
