Moved by Klingelhofer, seconded byMack, that Minutes of
October 21st meeting be approved as mailed. Carried.
ZC 63-131 Hearing ~pened at 7.:32 P.M. on Zone Cange Application
A.R. BUILDERS 63-131 of A. R. Builders, to permit a change from "U"
to C-1 andR-3 zones, or~ property NlW corner, of Willjams
and McFadden Streets, Tastin. -
Application and locatiQn, explained,.by Mr...Remland and
correspondence and minutes regarding this application
from October l~th Planning Comndssion meeting were read.
Mr. M. Reynolds spoke in favor of change. .....
There being no further connnents and no objections, the
hearing was closed at 8:42 P.M.
Moved by Mack, seconded by Kling~lhofer that Ordinance
he drawn granting the C-1 on the N/W corner (160 xl60)
of McFadden and Willjams as per Z,C. 63-131. Carried by
roll call - all councilmen present voting Aye.
MoVed by Sheridan, that request fo~ R-3 on remaining
property be denied. Died for lack of second.
Moved by Mack, seconded by .Kiingelh~o~er that remainder
of proper~y as applied for in Z. C. ~63~-131 be re~erred
back to the Planning Commission for their consideration
of P.D. zonir.~. Carried by roll. Call l.-,Ayes: Doney,

ZC 63-132 Hea~ing opened at 7:58 P.M on Z.C. 63-132, City of
Tustin, to permit rezoning of certain property between
First, Fourth, Pr6spect and Newport from ~U" to~C-1 zone.

by Mr. Reinland.

Moved by Mack, seconded by Klingelhofer that Ordinance
be drawn re-zoning property as applied for in Z.C. 63-132
to C-1 zone. Carried by re~tl call - all councilmen present
voting Aye.
Continued hearing regarding appointments to the
Tustin Planning Commission opened at 8:15 P.M.
Moved by Sheridan, seconded by Klingelhofer that Mr.
Laurentz Marsters be appointed to serve the unexpirSd
term of Mr. F. Hurd. Term to expire November 13, 1965.

Resolution 681, appointing Mr. Laurentz Marsters to the RESOL.

be continued to next regular meeting for consideration
of appointing one more member and all applications be
referred to the Police Department for checking. Carried.
C.D. Director Williamson withdrew his request to attend
the-Regional C.D. convention in Nevada.
Mr. Brook of Building Department recommended that Mr.
Robert R. Marcurn be employed as Buildin~ Inspector at R. MARCUM
~ a salary of $628.00 per month for a probationary period BUILDING
~ of one year, with a s~ep increase to $660.00 after INSPEC
~ six months and with a flat automobile allowance of EMPLOYED
~ $50.0G per month. Employment to start November 5, 1963,
Moved by Klingelhofer, seconded'by Mack that Mr. Robert
R. Marcum be employed all in accordance with above
recommendation. Carried.

Multiple Housing Committee presente~ recommendation for
consideration as Plannin~ Consultant, Mr. T; B. Adsit of
Corona Del Mar. Mayor set 7 P.M. November 12 at
1~5 W. Third S~ as time and place. for open study
session on this matter - multiple housing committee
invited to attend.
Police Commissioner and Police Chief recommended that CHARLES CRANE
Charles Crane ~e h~red as a dispatcher and part-time HIRED AS
patrolman at a sta'rting salary of $275,00 per month and DISPATCHER
$2.00 per hour when requested ~o work as reserve patrol- PART TIME
