Present: Doney, Sheridan, Hmmeston, Mack, Klingelhofer City Attorney Rourke, present. City Engineer Carlson, present. Planning Adviser Remland, present. WARNER- City Engineer reported that the Warner-Syc~more Amnexation SYCAMORE had passed the County Boundary Cor~.ission. ANNEXATION Moved by Mack, seconded by Klingelhofer, that Resolution No. 675, "A Resolution declaring that proceedings have been initiated by the City Council of the City of Tustin, to annex certain uninhabited territory described heroin and designated as "Warner-Syc~more Annexation" to the City of Tustin, and giving notice of the proposed annexation", be read by title cn!y. Carried unanimously. Moved by Klinge!hofer, seconded by Mack, that Resolution 675 be passed and adopted. Carried by rclt call. Ayes: Doney, Sheridan, H-~eston, Mack, K!ingelhofer. Noes: None. Absent: None EMPLOY City Engineer Car!sen~ m'e~om~ended that Ronald J. Dickerson STREET INSP. be employed as Street inspector and Draftsman at a starting DRAFTSMAN salary of $628.00 per month, ~dth a stealraise at the end of 6 ~us mo~ o Employment to start October 15th and ~ith one year standard probation. Moved by Mack, seconded by Klingelhofer, that recc~mnendations of Engineer be accepted and Ronald J. Dickerson be employed ~^ at ~u serve the pleasure of the Council. Carried° EMPLOY Moved by Hm~estcn, seconded by Mack, that on recommendations SECRITARY of City Engineer, Mrs. Clara Pomavi!le beiemp!oyed as Secretary tO Planning, Engineering and Building Departments, at a salary of $349o00 per month, as of October l, 1963 for standard probationa_~y period, to serve at the pleasure of the Council. Carried. CLOSE NEWPORT Moved by Mack, seconded by Hmmeston, that request of City AVENUE Engineer to close Newport Avenue at the Santa Ana Freeway '~ approximately one week, be approved ~ith details to ~ worked out between the Engineer, Police Chief and Fire Chief. Carried ORDINANCE Moved by Mack, seconded by Klingelhofer, that Ordinance 239 239 ~mending Section 15-7 of the Tustin City Code, have second reading by title onlyo Carried unanimously. Moved by Sheridan, seconded by Ma~k, that O~dinance 239 be passed and adopted. Carried by roll call. Ayes: Doney, Sheridan, Humpston, Mack, Klingelh6fer. Noes: None Absent~ None. ORDINANCE Moved by Mack, seconded by Klingelhofer, that Ordinance 236 236 changing property from the "U" to the ~PD" Zone on Application No. ZC 63-124 of Muth be read by title only. Mayok Doney authorized to sign Proclamation declaring SYMPHONY WEEK October 7-12th as Symphony Week in the City of Tustin. Moved by Humeston, seconded by Klingelhofer, that meeting be adjourned.
