TO: WILLIAM HUSTON, CITY MANAGER FROM: PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/ENGINEERING DIVISION SUBJECT: COUNTY OF ORANGE ARTERIAL HIGHWAY FINANCING PROGRAM (AHFP) ANNUAL REQUALIFICATION RESOLUTION RECO~!:4ENDATION: That the City Council adopt the attached resolution informing the Arterial Highway Financing program Advisory Committee of the status of the City of Tustin Master Plan of Arterial Highways. BACKGROUND: AHFP policy requires each City participating in the AHFP Program to adopt a resolution each year to affirm that the City's Master Plan of Artezial Highways is in conformanCe with the County's, and that the City has adequate setback and limited access provisions to protect the integrity of the arterial highway system. Bob Ledendecker Director of Public Works/City Engineer BL:REW:mv Attachment ~;~lndeeErin~°~e~ces Manager 1 2 5 6 ? 8 9 10 11 12 15 16 l? 18 19 :20 97 28 RESOLUTION NO. 88-67 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, INFORMING THE ORANGE COUNTY ARTERIAL HIGHWAY FINANCING PROGRAM ADVISORY COMMITTEE OF THE STATUS OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN MASTER PLAN OF ARTERIAL HIGHWAYS WHEREAS, the city of Tustin has a Master Plan of Arterial Highways and; WHEREAS, the Orange County Arterial Highway Financing Program requires annual requalification of participating cities in said program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Tustin as follows: SECTION ~: The Arterial Highway Financing Program Advisory Committee be, and here is, informed that the City of Tustin's Master Plan of Arterial Highways is mutually satisfactory and in - conformance with those of its adjacent governmental jurisdictions and the County of Orange. SECTION ~: The City of Tustin has adopted Zoning Ordinance No. 157, as amended, requiring setback to protect ultimate arterial highway right-of-way, and in addition, the City of Tustin has adopted Subdivision Ordinance No. 651, as amended, which provides for limitation of access to the arterial highway system. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Tustin, held on the 20th day of June, 1988. ATTEST: CITY STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) COUNTY OF ORANGE ) § CITY OF TUSTIN ) MARY E.
