Tt is recommended that the Agency e~th~rtze the Executive Dtrector to approve
Agreements and Grants of Parking Rlgl~ts, in particular the attached document.
B/~CKGROUND
The owner of premises at 220 E1 Camlno Real ts adding approximately 705 square
feet of additional off~ce area. The Zoning Code requtres three additional
parking spaces be provided for the additional buildlng square footage proposed.
Provisions of the E1 Camtno Real Speciftc Plan No. I (Ordinance No. 510) permit
the property owner to lease three parking spaces from nearby properties, the
publlc parktng structure or to pay into a Parking District.
As you are aware, the Redevelopment Agency ts an owner of interests tn the
Steven's Square Parking Structure. The Cl.ty Attm'ney's office has reviewed the
attached agreement for assignment of parking spaces in the Steven's Square
Parking Structure In order that the property owner can meet their required
add1 ttonal parktng.
