BACKGROUND: At the June 20, 1988 City Council meeting, a Council concern was raised about the street trees on Vinewood Avenue easterly of Yorba Street. At this time, no address or 'resident's name was provided. This same concern was raised at the July 5, 1988 City Council meeting and the resident's name was provided at that time. Staff determined through the Assessor's records and the resident's name that the area of concern was located at 17362 Vinewood Avenue. DISCUSSION: Mrs. Haacker was firs~ contacted by Staff in response to her initial contact and it was indicated that 'she wanted the trees removed. She was informed that her .request would be agendized at the City Council meeting of August 1st. In June and July, Mrs. Haacker's requests were raised under Council concerns. On July 7, 1988, Staff contacted Mrs. Haacker again and it was indicated that she desired to have the trees trimmed or removed. The trees were trimmed on Friday, July 8th and since that time Staff has received no additional comments. B6b Le~endecker Director of Public Works/City Engineer BL:mv
