Present: Sheridaa, Mack, Klingelhofer Absent: Humeston, Doney City Attorney Rourke, present. City Engineer Carlsen, present. Planning Adviser, Remland, present. Moved by Mack, seconded by Klingelhofer that the minutes of May 20th Regular Meeting and May 28th Adjourned Meeting be approved as mailed. Carried. PROTEST HEAR. The matter of the protest hearing of the Revised ING ON WEST West Main Street Annexation which was set for MAIN STEEET this time and date was called. ANNEXATION The Mayor pro tem advised the council that this annexation proceeding was terminated on April 25, TERMINATION DATE 1963. Mayor pro tem then asked if there were --APRIL 25/63 any persons present who desired to be heard. There were none. The Mayor pro tem asked if there was any correspondence relative to the matter. The City'Clerk reported there was none. There being no comments or correspondence, the Mayor pro tem declared the matter closed. PROTEST The matter of the protest hearing of the Red HEARING OF Hill Annexation which was continued to this time RED HILL ANNEX. and date was called. The Mayor pro tem advised the Council that this TERMINATION annexation proceeding was terminated on DECLARED AS OF May 28, 1963. Mayorprotem then asked if MAY 28th, 1963 there were any persons'presentwho desired to be heard. There were none. The Mayor pro tem asked if there was any correspondence relative to the matter. The City Clerk reported there was none. There being no comments or correspondence, the Mayor pro tem declared the matter closed. PROTEST HEARING The matter of'the protest hearing of the Newport ON NEWPORT AVE Avenue Armexation which was continued to this ANNEX. time and date was called. TERMINATION The Mayor pro tem advised the Council that DECLARED AS OF this annexation proceeding was terminated on MAY 28, 1963 May 28, 1963. Mayor pro tem then asked if there were any persons present who desired to be heard. There were none. The Mayor pro tem asked if there was any correspondence relative to the matter. The City Clerk reported there was none. There being no comments or correspondence, the Mayor pro tem declared the matter closed. ZC No. 63- Hearing on Zone Change application No. 63-123 123-FISHMAN of Alex Fishman was opened at 7:35 P. M. I' 75 Recommendations of Tustin Planning Commission were read by clerk. Mr. Remland. Planning Advisor, explained location of property, zoning and uses of surrounding proper~y and effect on property of proposed Freeway Ramps. Mr. A. Fishman spoke in his own behalf. HEARING CLOSED There being no objections or further comments, ON FISHMAN the Hearing was closed at 7:43 P. M. Moved by Klingehofer, seconded by Mack that APPROVED, Zone Change No. 63-123 of Alex Fishman to SUBJECT TO rezone.property from M to R-3 zone be ~p!~d P RECOMMENDATIONSsubject to the recommendation of the 1Enning OF PLANNING Commission and Planning Advisor, that s~id ADVISOR & rezoning not be completed until such time PLANNING as Section 5.23 of the. Zoning Ordinance is COMMISSION clarified to-require architectural approval before issuance of a building permit in the R-3, C, M, and PM Zones. Carried by roll call--all Councilmen present voting Aye. Stanton. spoke regarding Laguna Road REQUEST ON name change, and requested time to explore LAGUNA ROAD the matter from the county level. DEFERRANCE Moved by Klingelhofer, seconded by Mack ON NAME CHANGEthat the matter of Laguna Road name change be deferred to next regular meeting. Carried. PUBLIC Mr. Stewart Brown explained request for HEARING ON Public Hearing regarding formation of Parks RECREATION and Recreation District and requested council DIST. to defer decision. Moved by Klingelhofer, seconded by Mack that decision on action by Council to further DECISION formation of Parks District be deferred DEFERRED to July 1st meeting. Carried. INDIVIDUAL Moved by Mack, seconded byKlingelhofer BONDS FOR that clerk be authorized to obtain individual CITY CLERK & bonds in the amount of $25,000.00 each for TREASURER City Clerk and City Treasurer a~ cost of $125.00 each.
