the purchase of two bronze cast plaques for the Tustin Area Senior Center in the
amount of $3,263.02 from La Haye Bronze, Incorporated of Corona.
BACKGROUND
At the August 1, 1988, meeting the City Council authorized bids for two bronze
plaques for donor recognition and the dedication of the Tustin Area Senior Center.
The donor recognition plaque will recognize those who contributed financial support
for the construction of the Center, and the dedication plaque will include the City
Council, The Tustin Area Senior Center Fund, Inc. Board of Directors, the Senior
Center Steering Committee and the consultants.
.Both plaques are scheduled to be delivered and installed March 1, 1989. The
building is scheduled to be completed the first part of March, barring any further
delays. Tentatively the dedication is set for sometime early Spring 1989.

dedication. Staff will advise Council of the date as soon as possible.
The actual cost for fabrication and installation of the plaques is well below the
original estimate of between $8,000 and $12,000.
