RECOMMENDATION:
Request that the City Council at their regular adjourned meeting of October 19,1988
authorize solicitation of proposals for the replacement of the front-end alignment
equipment for the garage, as authorized in the 1988-89 Fiscal Budget.
BACKGROUND:
In the 1988-89 Fiscal Budget, Council authorized the replacement of the front-end
alignment machine in the garage. 'The existing alignment machine is over eleven years
old and does not have the capability to align late model cars. Due to its limitations and
fair wear and tear, the equipment is considered obsolete.
The front-end alignment machine was authorized as replacement, in the amount of
$22,000.00.
