TION OPENED DISCUSSION Mr. W. Pool, speaking for the owners, stated no objections to PM Zoning for said property. Moved by Councilman Humeston, seconded by SIGNAL OIL BID Councilman Sheridan that ~ity Clerk, as ADOPTED FOR Purchasing Agent, execute Agreemen~ with ONE YEAR Signal Oil Company for period of one year. HEATH OFFICER Russell, Healt~ Officer of Orange County, OF ORANGE COUNTY be received and filed: Health Department, County ~of Orange, Santa Ana, California June 25, 1962 ~'Honorable City Council of the City of Tustin 145 West Third Street Tustin, California Gentlemen: As Health Officer of the City of Tustin and of the County of Orange, I hereby re- commend that proceedings be instituted a~ the ity of Tustin for the construction once by C of sanitary sewers in the area hereinafter described, which said area is located both within the City of Tustin and within the County of Orange, adjacent to the city territory: · AREA 1: That certain area bounded on north by Fourth Street; on the west by the Newport Freeway; on the south by the Santa Ans Freeway; and on the east by Newport Avenue; and "AREA 2: That c~rtain area bounded on the west by NewportAvenue; on the south by Mitchell Avenue; on the north by Bryan Avenue; and on the easz by Red Hill Avenue. "All of the said area which is now developed or rapidly developing is entirely serviced by cesspools and septic tanks. "This recommendation is made as a measure necessary for the protection of public health and ~s also made pursuant to Section 2808 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. 'We have made an investigation of the sani- tary conditions in this area of the City and County territory, and we have found that the residents therein have been and a~e experienc- ing difficulties with their individual sewage disposal systems. Moved by Councilman Sheridan, seconded by Council- man Klingelhofer that Resolution No. 608, requesting the consent of the Board of Supervisors to the ex- tension of work into territory outside the boundaries of the City 8f Tustin and within the unincorporated area of the ounty of Orange and requesting approval of said Board of Supervisors of al~oposed Resolution of Intention to be adopted by the City of Tustin ordering the acquisition of all necessary land~ rights-of-way, easements, sewage disposal facilities or capacity in or right to use sewage.
