AUTHORIZATION TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF PERIMETER
BLOCK WALL AND ROLLING GATE AT 18602 17TH STREET (WELL SITE) /

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council, at their meeting of December 5,
1988, adopt the attached resolution approving the plans and
specifications for the subject project and authorizing the City Clerk to
advertise for bids.
BACKGROUND:
The subject project encompasses removal of existing wood and chain link
fence and construction of 6~8" high colored block wall fence and rolling
gate. Removal of existing fence and clearing the site will be done by
City's crew. Construction of block wall and rolling gate will be done by
prospective bidder.
The engineer's estimate for this project is $30,000. The tentative
schedule is as follows:

RESOLUTION NO. 88-129
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF PERIMETER
BLOCK WALL AND ROLLING GATE AT 18602 17TH STREET
(WELL SITE) AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
WHEREAS it is the intention of the City Council of the
City of Tustin, California to contract construction of
perimeter block wall and rolling gate at 18602 17th street (well
site); and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has presented plans and
specifications for the construction of said work;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the plans and
specifications presented by the City Engineer be and are hereby
approved as the plans and specifications for:
Construction of Perimeter Block Wall and Rolling Gate
at 18602 17th Street (Well Site)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to advertise as required by law for the
receipt of sealed bids or proposals for the doing of the work
specified in the aforesaid plans and specifications;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this project is
categorically exempt from the requirements of the California
Environmental Quality Act; Class I: Existing Facilities.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Tustin, held on the day of
