April 2, 1962
Meeting called to order at 7:30 P.M~ byMayor Kidd.
Present: Kidd, Humest6n, Sheridan, Mack, Doney

C-2 ZONING Hearing on application for C22 Zoning
HEARING WITHIN on property within the Pannell Annexation
PANNELL ANNEX. opened at 7:30 P.M.
Mr. Pool, representing the applicants,

PETITION RECEIVED Moved by Councilman Mack, seconded by

be received and filed. Motion carried.
Mr. J. Cochran representing property
MR. COCHRAN owners in vicinity of property in

PROPERTY OWNERS and presented problems of noise, traffic,

ing tentative housing tracts proposed for
the area.
Mr. L. J. Leroy of the Santa Fe spoke pro-
testing change of zone to C-2, drive-in
MR. LE ROY OF SANTA theatre and any residential use in this
FE PROTESTEST area, stating the Santa Fe was in favor
of M Zoning along the tracks.
Mr. George Bliss, Mr. J. W. Alexander,
OTHER PROTESTS Mr. Ted Bolte of Styleline Homes and
Mr. A. Willjams all spoke protesting
the use of the land for a drive-in
theatre.

Moved by Councilman Sheridan, seconded by
Councilmsm Mack that said exhibits be received
and filed. Motion carried.
Mr. Pool submitted that if the Flood Control

APPOINTMENT OF Moved by Councilman Sheridan, seconded by Council-

AND PURCHASE per month, and PUrchasing Agent at ~!00.60 per

Mr. Walter Opp requested inforn~ion regarding his
request for annexation of property at 17th and
Yorba Street. Mr. T. Carnes also requested that
the Council look into the possibility of annexing
his property at Prospect and 17th Street. Mayor
Kidd offered to meet with Mr. Carnes and contact
other property owners in the area.

by Councilmam Mack that meeting be ad-
journed. Motion carried.
