Background: In this year's 1988-89 budget, we were scheduled the replacement of one unmarked police vehicle. We chose Pontiac due to our good past performance record with that particular vehicle. We talked to four Pontiac Dealers and the results are as follows (blue book $13,270): i · Executive Pontiac, 16 Auto Center Drive, Tustin, 730-6800. Pursuant to the above policy, on November 21, 1988, with your approval, the vehicle was purchased from Executive Pontiac. They are new to our Tustin Auto Center and besides quoting the lowest price, seemed very anxious to serve the city. It was a pleasure to be ab~tilize their services.
