BACKGROUND: Half the cost of eligible items for this project will be covered by an Orange County Arterial Highway Financing Program (AHFP). One of the procedural steps required by the AHFP is submittal of a right-of-way certification. This document certifies to Orange County that the necessary right-of-way has been acquired by the City. · The escrow with the Nisson family has closed and the title to the property needed for widening the corner is now vested in the City of Tustin. The Nissons will remove and reface a portion of the house prior to the street widening construction which we expect to start early next summer. Wol~/rd Engineering S~rvices Manager RIGHT-OF-WAY CERTIFICATION The City of Tustin hereby certifies in connection with the right-of-way for AHFP Project No. 1199 , Red Hill Avenue and Walnut Avenue that: 1. Ail right-of-way has been acquired. 2. The following improvements exist within the right-of-way area but will not interfere with construction: Portion of dwelling being remov, ed by landowner. 3. Utilities which have prior rights and will require relocation are as follows: None In making this certification, the City of Tustin agrees to hold the County harmless from any liability which may arise by reason of the County's reliance upon this Certificate. and its use of said right-of-way.
