2. Date of Injury: February 15, 1987.
Place of Injury: 2119 East 25th Street, in the City
of Los Angeles, County of Los Angeles, State of California.
Manner of Injury: Claimant was a prospective buyer
attending an auction of publicly-owned vehicles, including

vehicles owned by the City of Tustin. While observing said
auction, he was pinned, between a mobile home and a publicly-
owned vehicle being driven up to the display area for
bidding'by attendees of the auction by an employee acting
within the scope and course of said public employment.
Claimant's injuries were the direct and proximate result of
the negligent operation of said public vehicle and the failure
or'the Dan Porter ~uctioneers, acting within the scope and
course of their employment by the City of Tustin, to provide
adequate crowd control and other safety measures to reduce or
eliminate the danger of vehicles under auction from striking
participants attending the auction.
3. Nature and extent of injuries: Claimant sustained a
crushing injury causing acute cervical and lumbar sprain with
musculoligamentous stretch injury; anxiety and tension reactive
to pain and stress; sprain to cervical, thoracic and lumbar
spine; contusion to left thigh, left elbow and hip; and
contusions to chest and ribs.
4. Amount of damages claimed: $5,000,000.00 sum includes
damages for present injuries and prospective injuries, medical
expenses and property damage, the amounts of which are presently
unknown to Claimant. Claimant has not received any statements
from anyone.
