SUBJECT: STATUS REPORT - MISCELLANEOUS TRAFFIC.STUDIES
During the past two months, the City Council has
following traffic studies:

.Review of Sycamore Avenue between School Road and.Newport Avenue
with respect to the number of travel lanes available to emergency
vehicles during peak traffic periods. .
.Review of the restricted on-street parking zones along both
E1 Camino Real and Sixth Street in the general vicinity of the
intersection.
.Review the feasibility of utilizing signing at various signalized
intersections providing the following message "Left Turn Yield on
Green Ball." The green ball would be a graphical illustration.
Ail Of the field data has been gathered for these Studies and the
information is being finalized in three reports to be sent to City
Council as follows:
.Sycamore Avenue from School Road to
Newport Avenue
March 7, 1988
.Utilization of signing at signalized intersections
indicating "Left Turn Yield on Green Ball" March 7, 1988
.Restricted on-street parking in the general vicinity
of E1 Camino Real at Sixth Street March 21, 1988
