FROM:
WILLIAM HUSTON, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/ENGINEERING DIVISION
SUBJECT: NEWPORT/McFADDEN AVENUE UNDERGROUND UTILITY'
DISTRICT NO. 10 (FILE NO. 2728)
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Tustin Community Redevelopment Agency authorize a supplemental
1987-88 budget appropriation in the amount of $12,000.00 for the South
Central Project Area for street lighting within the Newport/McFadden
Avenue Underground Utility District No. 10.
BACKGROUND:
On January 18, 1988, the Tustin City Council Adopted Resolution No.
88-6 establishing Underground Utility District No. 10. As a part of
this District No. 10, it is intended to install twelve additional
street lights and the supporting conduit for said lights. These street
lights/conduit are not eligible for Edison Company Rule 20A funding.
Staff had recommended that these street lights and conduit be funded by
Redevelopment Agency (South-Central Project Area) funds in the amount
of $12,000.00.
DISCUSSION:
There was no action taken at the January 18, 1988 meeting regarding the
authorization of funding in the amount of $12,000.00 for the street
light installations within District No. 10.
Staff is requesting the street light installations be funded by
Redevelopment Agency (South-Central Project Area) funds and that the
Agency authorize a Supplemental 1987-88 Budget appropriation in the
amount of $12,000.00.
