TO: FROM: WILLIAM HUSTON, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/ENGINEERING DIVISION SUBJECT: NEWPORT/McFADDEN AVENUE UNDERGROUND UTILITY' DISTRICT NO. 10 (FILE NO. 2728) RECOMMENDATION: That the Tustin Community Redevelopment Agency authorize a supplemental 1987-88 budget appropriation in the amount of $12,000.00 for the South Central Project Area for street lighting within the Newport/McFadden Avenue Underground Utility District No. 10. BACKGROUND: On January 18, 1988, the Tustin City Council Adopted Resolution No. 88-6 establishing Underground Utility District No. 10. As a part of this District No. 10, it is intended to install twelve additional street lights and the supporting conduit for said lights. These street lights/conduit are not eligible for Edison Company Rule 20A funding. Staff had recommended that these street lights and conduit be funded by Redevelopment Agency (South-Central Project Area) funds in the amount of $12,000.00. DISCUSSION: There was no action taken at the January 18, 1988 meeting regarding the authorization of funding in the amount of $12,000.00 for the street light installations within District No. 10. Staff is requesting the street light installations be funded by Redevelopment Agency (South-Central Project Area) funds and that the Agency authorize a Supplemental 1987-88 Budget appropriation in the amount of $12,000.00. · Bob Le~nd~ecker -- Director Public Works/City Engineer BL:bf
