Request the Tustin City Council, at their regular meeting, of March 7, 1988, to authorize the City Clerk to advertise for bids for The Annual Asphalt Concrete Repair Program. BACKGROUND: The three years of The Annual Asphalt Co~crete Pavement Repair Program has concluded. This contract is proposed as an annual contract with up "o' two renewals based on performance, increases within the existing .onsumer price index (CPI) and agreement of both parties. Specifications for the Annual Asphalt Concrete Pavement Repair Program have been prepared and staff is proposing the following schedule: Council authorization for bid ........... March 7, 1988 First legal advertisement ............. March 17, 1988 Second legal advertisement ............ March 24, 19.88 Bid Opening ................. April 4, 1988 Bob Ledendecker Director Public Works/City Engineer BL:MB:bf Monda Buckley i- Administrative Assistant. i · . 1 2 5 6 ? 8 9 10 11 12 13 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 25 26 28 RESOLUTION NO. 88-25 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE'CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE ANNUAL ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT REPAIR PROGRAM WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Tustin, California to maintain and repair streets as needed at various locations in the City of Tustin; and, WHEREAS, the~City Engineer has presented specifications for the purpose of accomplishing this work; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the specifications presented by the City Engineer be and are hereby approved as the specifications for: ANNUAL ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT REPAIR PROGRAM BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to advertise as required by law for the receipt of sealed bids or proposals for the doing of the work specified in the aforesaid plans and specifications. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this project is categorically exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act; Class I: Existing Facilities.
