HomeMy WebLinkAboutNB 3 PAVEMENT MARKING 04-04-88'""' ' Inter- Corn DATE: Ha=ch 29, 1988 TO: FROM: SUBJECT: WILLIAM HUSTON, CITY MANAGER PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/ENGINEERING DIVISION AWARD ANNUAL PAVEMENT MARKING PROGRAM CONTRACT RECOMMENDATION: Request the Tustin City Council, at their regular meeting of April 4, 1988, award the contract for the Annual Pavement Marking Program to Safety Striping Service, Inc., of Fillmore for an estimated annual cost of $26,558.00. BACKGROUND: At the meeting of March 7th, Council authorized the City Clerk to advertise for bids for the Annual Pavement Marking Program. Bids were received in accord with the schedule. Two bids were submitted, however, the low bid submitted by Orange County Striping was disqualified as bid addendum #1 was not submitted at the time of bid opening.
