BACKGROUND
Mr. Phillip Cox, owner of the E1 Camino Real Plaza expressed the following
ncerns about the Steven's Square parking structure at the City Council's
;eting on March 21, 1988.
1. The need for additional signage ~o ensure that the public was aware of
those public parking spaces owned by the City in the parking structure.
2. The existence of signage on the structure prohibiting parking at certain
times.
The Public Works and Community Development Departments have completed field
inspections of the structure and surrounding vicinity. Additional directional
signage identifying public parking will be ins:ailed. Existing signage on the
structure itself prohibits overnight parking as originally recommended by the
City. In addition, spaces are identified for customer parking which is
appropriate. No alteration to the actual parking structure signage is,
therefore, necessary.
