HUSTON, CITY MANAGER COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT COLUMBUS TUSTIN DRAINAGE STUDY Recommendation: Staff recommends the City Council appropriate $1,500 for the Storm Drain Study of Columbus Tustin Park. Background: At the March 7, 1988 Council Meeting, Council approved a professional services agreement for the design of storm drains in Prospect Avenue and in Edinger Avenue ~tth GPS Consulting Engineers. Since Council expressed an interest in work at Columbus Tustin at its last meeting, the Public Works/Engineering Division since contacted GPS regarding the possibility of including Columbus Tustin Park as an addendum to the original contract. The scope of work would include a hydrology study, a preliminary storm drain design and a cost estimate for the site.' Since the work would be an addendum to the project, the cost would be minimal, approximately $1500. Engineering can handle the contract addendum by purchase order and will work with GPS regarding the study. Susan M. Jone~ Recreation Superintendent SMJ/bw Royleen A.
