PUBLIC WORKS DEPARll4ENT/ENGINEERING DIVISION
EAST TUSTIN ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 85-1
The Irvine Company, petitioner of the East Tustin Assessment District No. 85-1,
may be requesting a change in scope of the District projects that were previously
'outlined in the Preliminary Engineer's Report approved by City Council on June 16,
1986. As of this date, the proposed changes have not been finalized by The Irvine
Company.
In the event these changes cannot be finalized by Thursday, July 3rd, and
distributed to City Council on that date, staff will be requesting a special City
Council meeting on either Thursday, July 10th, or Friday, July 11th, to finalize
these changes. This would also coincide with the need for a special Council
meeting for authorization to re-advertise bids for the E1 Modena-Irvine Channel
project.
The proposed project changes are as follows:
Addition of the Bryan Avenue Bridge Project in the amount of $719,066.03,
which is inclusive of all engineering design, construction and inspection
costs.
Deletion of New Myford Road between Michelle Drive and E1 Camino Real
inclusive of the bridge over the I-5 Freeway. This deletion will reduce
the total district cost by $5,917,065.00.
A complete staff report will be provided to the City Council on Thursday, July
3rd, if the item is to remain on the July 7th Council agenda. In the event it is
delayed to either July 10th or 11th, a verbal report will be made at the July 7th
meeting.
